LESSON 4 ASSIGNMENT
Introduction
For the fourth assignment, you will create a website as a group to show off the final products of your Decades Project multimedia presentation. You will need to create a script and once finished, you will add the transcript to your website. Once your multimedia presentation is complete, you will add it to a different page. Once you select visual aid components, you will add them to your website on a different page, explaining why you chose them. On a fourth page, you will annotate various presentation practice sessions and talk about how your group mates came across issues and solved them.
This project will help you put together your multimedia presentation and place it in one place. By creating a website or e-portfolio and saving your presentation there, you are essentially creating a way to show your best work to potential college recruiters and employers.
This assignment will help you develop presentational skills needed to do well on your Decades Project.

INSTRUCTIONS

-
Select a free website to host your project on (ex: WordPress, PBWiki, Blogger, Wix, etc.).
-
Create a page for each multimedia project section (Script, Visual Aids, Multimedia Presentation, and Practice Sessions).
-
Complete your multimedia script. Ideally, you may want to create your script or outline first so that you know what you will say ahead of time.
-
Choose and reflect on your visual aids. Please post your visual aids or link to them on your website. Then, next to each media element briefly explain in a few sentences why you chose to include it in your presentation.
-
Complete your multimedia presentation. Use your knowledge and skills gained from the third lesson of this course to create a multimedia presentation of your Decades Project. You may choose any multimedia presentation tool. Please include all of the elements as mentioned in Mr. Sellers' Decades Project instructions.
-
Record reflections on at least three practice runs of your presentation. You will want to write down any problems and lessons learned from each practice run and plan on how to improve the presentation for the next or final run.
-
Upload each project element to the appropriate page on your website.
-
When complete, have one group member submit the URL link to your website at the "Submit Here" section of this assignment page.
-
Cite all sources in MLA format.
-
Remember: If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about your project, please do not hesitate to ask me or Mr. Sellers for help.
